Dean search committee, search firm finalize leadership profile for next engineering dean

Using input from College of Engineering faculty, staff, and students, Witt Kieffer and the College of Engineering Dean Search Committee completed the leadership profile and job description for the next dean of the college, which was approved by Executive Vice President and Provost Kevin Kregel on Feb. 16.

College of Engineering dean search committee co-chairs, members named

University of Iowa faculty, staff, and students have been named to the search committee for a new dean of the College of Engineering. Sara Sanders, dean of the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences, and Jun Wang, the James E. Ashton Professor of Engineering and interim department executive officer of the Department of Chemical and Biochemical Engineering, were named co-chairs of the committee.
